I have teied many times to fina useful and non biased web hosting company review/comparision site and failed.
So I now going to have my own.
Simple clean graphics, see RAC, paypal, google etc.
Listing will be free to hosting companies.
The site will need two banner position for each page...this will be the only revenue.
Hosting companies will log in and complete a form "submit form" for each of their plans. The form will be comprises of check boxes for certain features and text boxes for variables.
The user will be able to search for an appropriate hosting company by selecting "must have" plan features and services. Results will return the closest matches first, highlighting any that are exact matches with a coloured background.
Results will be ordered closest match first followed by those with the most matching fields.
Site admin should be able to:-
i) add new fields to both the search form and submit form and set as a check box or text field ( i realise this is an issue because all new feilds need to be taken into consideration for the search)
ii) delete hosting companies for abuse or reports of bad service.
The site will also need a set of administratable text links that are consistent on all site pages.
Please send questions in bid text and I will answer all at once and distribute to all bidders.
Thanks
Trev
