Contact Form and Apex Notification plugin

1st ISSUE: When the Contact Form Submit button is pressed it send out the request but does not notify successful send and clear form to user. It just spins. So users keep pressing the button and we end up with several messages instead of one. When customers press submit, form should clear and confirmation message should pop up. 2n ISSUE: A plugin called "Apex Notification" is running on my site on the top margin above menu. There are 2 notifications that rotate right to left every 10 or so seconds. After the second notification slides away, instead of the 1st notification coming back in to view, a blank notification show and the horizontal section where the notifications were showing skews upward creating a white space. the navigation buttons become inoperable and the other notifications never return to screen. When we disable the plugin, a white space is left on site where the Apex Notification was sliding. We need to be able to disable plugin without leaving white space and when we enable plugin, the issue described above should not happen.
