“Sencha Ext JS is a pure JavaScript application framework for building interactive cross-platform web applications using techniques such as Ajax, DHTML, and DOM scripting.” - Wikipedia
A Sencha Ext JS web page is made up of widgets, in which data may be presented in a graphical format.
The purpose of this project is to provide a proof of concept that shows associative filtering between chart elements (widgets) on a page.
The widgets used in this project must include a pie chart, a bar chart, a line graph, and a table.
Each of the widgets must be able to have a subset of the total elements’ data selectable by the end user.
When a widget’s selection changes, the widget must then apply a global filter that filters the other widgets’ data, based on the subset of data selected.
Ex: [login to view URL]
The end result is such that the end-user may be able to filter by the dimension they wish, simply by clicking on charts and graphs.
Any data may be used, as long as it is managed using the Ext JS framework, and suits the chart and graph types provided.
