Forget the nondisclosure thing, it's too complicated... I do expect my code to be kept confidential though please.
The program is a utility program designed to help users of the Eudora email client. I've attached an executable, although it won't do much until you install Eudora (you can download it if you don't have it from [[login to view URL]][1])
The primary function of the program is to assist in the creation of new email filters.
There are a few utility functions that need to be implemented to Compact mailboxes, and to fix up TOC (Table of Contents) files. I will continue working on these utilities myself, although I could use some help.
The work I have for you is to integrate some projects together into the main project, test the program, debug anything that is causing problems, and ask me questions to help me improve the program, and do some implementation based upon your suggestions.
Because this is rather open ended, and difficult to specify without a lot of knowledge on your part, I would propose to purchase 50 hours of your time in this project. If that is not enough, we can do another project in the future at our mutual discretion.
You would be required to document to the half hour how the time was spent, but I will trust you to be honest about the time. I don't think I have any other choice than to trust you anyway. :-) It's not like I can just hop a plane to India and kick you in the shins. :-)
The going rate on RAC for hourly programming seems to be around $5 an hour, if that seems fair to you, then bid $250 for this project. If you need more, bid higher.
The work primarily consists of GUI integration, although there may be a small amount of additional reverse engineering of some Eudora files, and finishing some small pieces of code in the program.
