This should be a fairly simple project I basically need a meme generator which writes on photos then saves them. What I want: - The user presses a "edit" button under a photo. ** see image attached - A modal pops up where they can edit the image OR a new page if needed. - Have an easy way to type and position text (text box) ** Example "Happy Birthday Jess" ** text has to allow for stroking / black outline ** option of a few different fonts, sizes and colours - Save that image back to the directory and refresh the original page to show the new image in the list. I have this already working with a more complicated project but i just want it to be simplified. This will mainly be used on desktop but i would like the possibility to use it on a mobile if needed. I also want the option for preset backgrounds in case the user doesn't want to put the put the message on a photo

Hello there, What you're asking for can be done using an HTML5 Canvas. Whether the user has to upload his own image or use a predefined background our job would be to draw that image to the canvas and then start editing. We can create something similar to the Whatsapp Image editor where the user can select a "Text Box" and drag it around, chose his text and color, apply some basic transformation to the text such as Stroking or Underlining then saving the image. Once that's done we will "draw" those changes to that Canvas and save the image on our PHP server. The user will then be able to see it, download it and use it.
