I have a web application that needs to print directly to two different printers.
One print job is a receipt with a logo on the top and then details of the transaction below and then a terms and conditions statement. All information is being pulled out of a mysql database.
The second job is a schedule of classes for the day that I want to print on legal landscape
The third print job are standard reports in portrait mode.
It works now by printing whats on the web page, but each time a user switches between print jobs they have to remember to change printers, paper size, margings, etc...
I'd like a way to have the web page automatically select the correct printer, set the paper size, orientation, margins, etc.. The printer selections can be stored in a mysql table for each location.
I've come close using a signed applet, but I'm not too familiar with all the swing components and need this done quickly rather than my having to learn and code it. Any method is acceptable as I have total control over any computer accessing the computer. (jZebra, signed app, etc... ) whatever gets the job done.
