widget without flash

For a client I need a pretty simple widget which works without flash. It has to read and output a [login to view URL] which has elements of the name book with book->title, book-author, book-description and book->id We saw lots of flash widgets, but want the widget to be independent from any requirements like adobe flash, ms silverlight, flex or whatever. I asked already some local freelancers, but each of them only knows flash and not javascript solutions. That's why i want to know FOR SURE if You are able to do the job with JS (e.g. jquery or mootools). If not, DO NOT BID!!! I will ask You for a demo where You wrote already any widget without flash. If You can provide this, I will tell You the details for this job. If not, please leave this project. The project will not be awarded if You can not show a reference of a WIDGET. Not any other js job, but a widget. Thanks for understanding.
