I want a Windows 8 modern (formerly metro) style application. Screens must be designed for touch. The application will be sold in Windows Store, hence must meet Windows app certification requirements. The application must also work in Windows 7 and 10. Develop the application using VB.Net. Use SQlite or any free embedded database. According to Microsoft, Windows 8 Metro style apps must work out of the box without configuring a database connection. The application must also work with non-embedded databases. Write generic/ANSI SQL statements. Do not write any brand specific SQL statements so I can change database without rewriting SQL Statements. Some users may store database in the cloud so data must be automatically synchronized (using date and time stamps) between database stored on a device (tablet/desktop/LAN) with database stored in the cloud. Screen resolution: 1024x768 or as per Microsoft guidelines.
