Greetings! I'm looking for a graphic designer and developer or a number of them, who would be willing to donate some of their time for this non-profit project to develop a website and mobile app similar to Soundcloud or youtube music specifically for the free and advertisement free distribution of Dhamma talks of the Theravada tradition, with the ability to save Dhamma talks and guided meditations to one's devices, for offline play. The idea for the app came from a realisation that it's quite difficult to access and find dhamma talks, and on places like youtube, there are lots of distractions and the saving of the talks isn't possible. The aim of this app and the project is the spreading of the Buddha Dhamma, which according to the Buddha should always be offered free of charge. We're looking for developers who would see the merit in the Dana of their own work for this project. This project is completely self-funded and it isn't affiliated with any particular sect or organizations, and will never be. It is purely aimed towards making Dhamma talks easily accessible for humanity and the sharing of the Buddha Dhamma. The further goal of the project will be to collect (with the permission of the authors) and improve and standardise the sound quality and volume of Dhamma talks available on the internet today in various languages, and the transcription and translation of them by volunteers.
