Website logo

I need a new logo for a website. The website is [login to view URL] Therefore the logo should be for 'Antique Arms Research' I would like the logo to fit in with the look and feel of the web site and will replace the current 'Old Swords' and crossed swords logo. My initial thoughts are using colours that look like antique metal (dull silver)? But I am not the expert and that is what I am paying for ;-) If you need photos of antique arms (swords, bayonets, flintlock guns) then please request them. The logo should be usable on printed material and It would be great if the logo could be greyscale as that would make printing a lot cheaper. But I want something that looks good which is more important than the colour. I require the logo is a suitable format to be displayed on the website but also of a suitable size for paper copy.
