Here will be our strategy: 1. We will try Suspend and Resume Data movement. 2. 3. If step 1 didn't works, we have to stop all backups if any then re-configure AG by removing and adding Database.

Its not much complicated ( when it is done by a right person). Also, as mentioned by you - you are running AG on Standard edition, this means only 2 servers are involved (with only 1 DB in the AG) When he 2 replicas are out of sync, depending on the current state of the (old) primary (but now out if sync) database, we can try the following methods 1. SET HADR RESUME, or 2. Change the AG more from Sync to Async, and then change it back 3. Stop the backup-jobs (only) for the relevant DB on the (currently) Production replica. Reconfigure AlwaysOn (by taking the DB out of AG, restoring it from the Backups taken as recently as possible and then adding the DB back to the AG) When this is achieved Fail- over the AG to new server. And making sure its set as the Primary Replica. Some more steps will be added If you have added any new logins when your DB was live on the current server.
