I need Google sheets and Google calendar to talk to each other to help me keep track of my database from Google sheets. For scheduling and tracking 381 stores in the United States. I don't know much about Google sheets, google calendar, or Excel. I'm assuming it would be best to use Google sheets so it talks to Google calendar more fluently?
Also I heard using an app called zapier helps them communicate even better more flawlessly.
381 stores I want to keep track of them by project, not city, or state, or, zip code, or whatever.
What I currently do at these stores as an on going operations.
1. Re-stripe
2. Seal coat and re-stripe
3. Repairs to the parking lot.
4. Concrete work.
5. Truncated domes.
6. Misc. Work.
I need to keep track of what we have done in the past, and future work that has come up. I need to be able to track the data, also. We are currently doing one year out, two years, three years out. I also have what we've done in the past from 2004 that needs to be uploaded into the data.
We use a whiteboard hanging on a wall right now. I need something we can read with our phones and make real-time changes that everyone can see in the field.
Something that's super simple to use. A couple taps on a button and your exactly where you need to be. I'd also like to upload pictures to the calendar or to the spreadsheet. Start of the project, middle of the project, then of course finished product.
I would like Google sheets to be able to talk to Google calendar when I schedule the work and automatically upload it to Google calendar. I would like Google sheets to create notification letters. With auto field functions. Meaning store number one and it fills the address city and state. And other miscellaneous things with autofill.
Thank you for your time
