Hi, I have a very strong cosmetic ecommerce site and needed help to market on facebook and the facebook fan page. I would first like to get more people to "like" this page and get the leads, drive traffic to my site and tun them into sale. My biggest challenge is that we sell Asian skin care products, our primary target customer is Asian women, but I would like to expend it into the non-asian female market. All products are not just for Asian, but for everyone, such as one of our top brand: Shiseido. I'm looking for an internet marketing expert can build a marketing plan around my existing site, direct me on how would I market my website thus to create some good interactions on the fan page. I will provide my website address and assign this person as a admin to the fan page so he/she can start edit this page and submit the marketing plan to me with the strategies of advertising on facebook. Beauty products marketing and branding requires integrated efforts (offline, online, PR, advertising, events, brand ambassadors, channel marketing etc). This is because of two reasons (1) women being major spenders are more emotional than men and are offline shop-holics so even on online media assets (facebook etc) you need event driving posts for product sampling (2) beauty products require continuous brand support as they boost one's life reputation (so are serious buys and not impulsive decisions)...so an integrated 360 degrees effort across different channels is required with disciplined consistency ( I have helped devise ethnic marketing strategy-one aspect-for Coty Inc so I know what it takes). You seem to be an Japanese major with US presence...remember Toyota had to offer Lexus as a separate brand to sell in US markets...you will need to create a new brand for white customers (again ethnic marketing experience with Coty tells me this).
