We have a dedicated web server running Apache, MySQL, RoR among other things. We're now about to move this server to a new hardware and would like to capture the current state as a Puppet manifest. The manifest will then be applied to the new server, effectively creating a clone of the current one.
We're now looking for a talented system administrator who can create a good manifest, not only to clone the current state, but also to serve as a starting point for future in house use.
## Deliverables
A well written Puppet manifest, following best practices, that captures the current server state. When the manifest is applied onto a new Debian Stable server, the new server should behave like the old one. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Debian Linux (no other flavors of Linux needs to be supported).
