1. Provide Linux ISO boot and any source code 2. Execute at boot the following applications a and b below? 1. a processor intensive calculation like [Prime 95][1] or [Intel's Linpaq][2] at boot. 2. an application that shows a graph of processor frequency 3. Use FreeBSD or suggest the distribution of your choice. 4. The answer to the following is question is requested if known. Can you create a completely legal ISO distributable with the applications that may be? 1. distributed for free? 2. re-sold for a profit? ## Deliverables 1. Provide Linux ISO boot and any source code. 2. Execute at boot the following applications A and Bbelow? 1. a processor intensive calculation (A) like [Prime 95][1] or [Intel's Linpaq][2] at boot. 2. an application (B) that shows a graph of processor frequency 1. very similar to what Windows [login to view URL] shows when the following counter is selected: \ProcessorPerformance(Processor_Number_0)\Processor Frequency - see attached screen shot - a Win 7 perfmon config file is also attached. 2. Editable XML, INI or plain text files on the ISO provide the following? 1. Header_Text: String : The header text for the graph. 2. Graph_Y_Max : Integer in Mhz : The top value for the vertical scale of the graph. 3. Graph_X_Max : Integer in Minutes :The total time frame shown in the graph 4. Sample_Interval : Integer in Seconds: The sample interval for Processor Frequency 5. Test_Length : Integer in Minutes :The length of time before all graphing and cpu processes stop 6. Leave the graph on the screen 3. A rolling graph that allows the plots to roll off the screen when Test_Length is longer than Graph_X_Max is preferred- but not a requirement. 4. Here are various performance monitor applications for linux that may or may not read processor frequency correctly and help with the implementation? 1. <[login to view URL]> 2. <[login to view URL]> 3. Htop on FreeBSD? <[login to view URL]> 3. Use FreeBSD or suggest the distribution of your choice. 4. The answer to the following is question is requested if known.
