Scratch and/or Python Teacher for an Online Coding School (Philippines/Indonesia)

(you can know other programming languages as well, we won’t hold it against you) You Will Be: Delivering fun and engaging classes based on the scripts and materials provided Working with children aged 8-10 in an online class setting individually and with groups of up to 8 students Improving your teaching skills with the help of Kodland experienced mentors Communicating any feedback regarding lessons and content with the office team Providing regular and detailed reports about student progress and Tracking and improving class engagement and learning experience Being positive, influential, and outgoing ambassador for Kodland Implementing creative ideas to stimulate and support our students You Will Get From Us: A young, supportive, and friendly team Scripts and content for all the lessons A commitment to your personal and professional development with regular training opportunities Friends and family discount for all our courses No teaching experience is required, however in order to be invited to an interview you will need to complete a digital skills test (it will be sent to you once you have applied). You are a great match if you are: A Scratch Coder at least on intermediate level Willing to learn new skills and improve on your already existing ones Dedicated to teaching children and helping them achieve great results Able to work weekends and/or weekday afternoons and evenings Able to work as Self-Employed You have no criminal record and have not been barred from working with children Inter-personal skills Patient with a pleasant demeanour, dependable, approachable and polite Enjoys interacting with young children, liaising with team members Tutoring Skills Providing help and mentoring children Working on improving your teaching skills based on feedback Pronunciation and articulation when you speak are clear and easy to understand and follow by children Please note: This is a remote work position so you will need your own laptop with a camera & mic, a stable internet connection and a quiet place to work from.
