Looking for a Python Web Developer (ideally self taught) to work on modifying a search interface and setting up a simple website to run the search interface. - This involves taking an existing metacrawler source and - Forms/Backend for Creating user accounts (Sign in/different form view/reset password) - Search Page main form - Applying a user modifiable “pagerank” based on metacrawled results from a server side database - Signed in users can “vote” on page links in search results. - Ability to automatically back up pagerank database nightly - Form to Submit simple ads to be approved and then appear on the search page. Needs experience setting up websites. Web design experience is welcome but not required. Possible continued hourly work based on results.
