The project requires:
1 .desktop file, 1 Python script and 1 Python function.
1. A ".desktop" (see below, URL for details) type file that activate script #2 on Ubuntu 12.04 start-up.
2. A python script that has a variable containing path to directory (pathi = /path/to/directory). The scripts creates a Boolean variable set to False (you can just pickle it so it would be accessible to script 3), then sleeps to 300 seconds (a simple from time import sleep will be enough). if the Boolean is still set to False then delete, recursively, the directory to whom the path leads to.
3. A python function, when activate it sets the Boolean variable (from scrip 2) to True.
Due to the fact that script 2 and function 3 may not reside at the same directory you should write your scrips accordingly.
Please send me an example of a .desktop file, running a python script from some directory as a proof of knowledge.

I am a software developer at an IT firm in Bangalore(India) with fair knowledge in python. I have written scripts to crawl the data from the website for many projects and a weather information parser(12 scripts) for a wind forecasting project in python. I am having fair knowledge in Linux flavored operating systems from past couple of years. I am good at writing scripts effectively. My "Weather Information Parser"
has been running successfully without any bug reported till date in production as it is parsing 20 lakh records for each processing which happens twice a day. I am known for best in writing efficient, error free and neat code as i am a CMMI-process internal auditor. Regarding the schedule i am very bound for the timelines. PLEASE MENTION IF I HAVE TO SHARE MY PYTHON KNOWLEDGE AND PLEASE ELABORATE THE REQUIREMENT FOR COMPLETE UNDERSTANDINGS.
