AR app for Android and Iphone

I have a requirement for a AR application that will act as a show guide at the RHS Chelsea Flower show. The show covers approximately 2 acres of land, and users of the app should be able to locate show gardens, amenities (toilets, exits, first aid etc.) and most importantly, food and drink outlets. Upon clicking on the icons representing these facilities, further, in app, information will be presented to the user (such as a menu in the case of a restaurant). These features should be tabbed, however, the hospitality village icon would be visble to users at all times. Please note the AR app will need to be developed, tested and launched in both Iphone and Android OS's. Quote should incorporate cost of development and placement in respective market places. The application will be offered free to our customers, and at a small cost to non-customers. ## Deliverables ## 2.1 Functionality The following outlines suggested features for the mobile applications. At this early stage these will need to be clarified in more detail: ### 2.1.1 Camera View Once the user has started up the application the Camera View will be initiated. This view will highlight each of the relevant Points of Interest (POI) surrounding the user, similar to the attached image. Each POI will contain the following information: Title Image Number of metres Short text description (displaying X number of characters from the main text description) Please note: each of the above content elements will be fixed and not content managed. Within this view the user will be able to navigate through the different POI's by moving their mobile camera in line with their surroundings. To see the full information on a POI the user will tap the relevant POI screen icon. Unlike the above NearestWiki example we would recommend that the text content is already loaded into the app, rather than loading an external web page. The Hospitality Village should be one of the most prominent POI's in the active camera view. ### 2.1.2 App POI's The following POI's will need to be available within the mobile applications: **Entrance/Exit** **Hospitality** **Village**** ** **CFS Shop** **Catering Restaurants & Champagne Bar** Seafood & Champagne Restaurant Ranelagh Bistro & Laurent-Perrier Champagne Bar Rock Bank Restaurant **Marquee food courts & outdoor catering** Bandstand Plateau Picnic Area Ranelagh Food Court Rock Bank Food Court Thames View Food Court Western Avenue & Creek Gate Food Courts **Gardens** Show Gardens Urban Gardens Courtyard Gardens Great Pavilion Cross Way Eastern Avenue Main Avenue Main Way Pavilion Way Ranelagh Middle Ranelagh North Ranelagh South Rock Garden Bank Floral Design Marquee Royal Hospital Way Southern Road Sweetingham Way Triangle Western Avenue ## 2.1.3 Preference Screen The preferences screen would provide the user with the ability to filter from the different types of facilities at the show e.g. ALL Garden Restaurants (understood there will up to 20 of these) Amenities (Toilets, lost property etc) What's near me The camera view would then be updated with the appropriate POI icons. A further suggestion would be to include the CFS opening times within this screen. ## 2.2 App Testing Both of the App's features will be thoroughly tested to the specification. Any limitations in the Apps will be fixed at no cost. Please aim to ensure that your quotation accurately meets my needs before work commences to avoid additional charges being considered at a late stage. I have attached a Floorplan of the show to visualisation. GPD co-ordinates will be provided of all POI's.
