his project involves taking Alstrasoft’s E-Friends PHP based platform and customizing it to fit within the website ThisCity.com. Script: [login to view URL] This will become the ‘Personal Accounts’ at [login to view URL] and add two main sections to ThisCity.com. ‘People’ and ‘Classifieds’ This project will involve many customizations, probably requiring 1-2 months of work. I have created several screenshots to illustrate some of the changes that will be made when adding e-friends to ThisCity.com. Also, we will be cutting out a lot of functionality from E-friends that I do not want to use, such as forums. I do not have the time right now to write a complete and detailed list of all the changes to make to the platform. I prefer to provide programmers with a task list every couple days so that development progresses in steps. In order to give you some idea of the scope of the changes, here are some of the more major customizations: 1. When someone signs up for a personal account, they can decide whether or not they want to just post classifieds or if they would also like to create a public profile for the online community. 2. I’m Attending: Allow users to click on an event in the event section and indicate that they are planning to attend. This would add the event to that users personal calendar and also be added to the event details page where it would say something like ’33 users attending’ Click to see who’s attending’ 3. Customer Reviews: Allow registered users to review companies by providing a star rating and a short description. 4. Styling: The layout, font sizes, colors, etc. must be updated to match the styling of ThisCity.com. 5. Establishing prices and permissions for paid classified ads, and also member upgrades to the social networking service. 6. Improve Classifieds by creating a better category tree and improved functionality for Home and Auto listings. 7.
