Inventory Management & Ordering Web App Design. App will have basic elements of inventory ordering: 1. List of suppliers & products supplied (will provide) 2. Ordering tab - for placing orders for same day, next day or specific day of the week. 3. Active Orders tab - shows orders not yet received. 4. Received Orders tab - tab showing orders received. When placing an order, app will list all items by supplier and will have quantity field active and a price field, the price field will already be input but will be able to be changed if needed. Quantity will be input. When order is confirmed, it will show order preview and will ask for second confirmation. When order is double confirmed, it will email each supplier with a specific template and just the items needed from the order placed for them. It will CC company email and employee that placed the order. Active order tab will just show a preview of the order coming in. When deliveries are made, each order will have to be confirmed via employee. If items are missing, incoming orders page will allow us to change what we received and what changes were made. Additionally, price field will be editable at the point too, in case of updated pricing. With an email being send to supplier of the changes. All tabs will connect to Inventory Reports tab that will show active orders or past orders and amount as well as quantities for each item, for each supplier and cost amount. Need app to be compatible with multiple locations and template email will be sent out with location code and address. Need app to be able to be accessed by different users (pass word protected). User levels will be Leads, Managers, Owner. This is an on going project and app will be further developed to include more functionality for managers and password protected reports and tabs. Project is basic to start but will get more in depth as we go.
