I need an application (as simple as possible) that will be using a database. I thought that an e-library would be something quite easy to program. It need to be able to add a book (title, author, year?), rent it to someone and be able to check what book is rented for how long and when does the rent date end. The project should be in c# and the db preferred is mysql using PHP.

I can make a panel in PHP +MySQL, and that will have all features you mentioned. There will be a list of books, date of rent start, end date etc. It will not take much time ( I guess 2 days is enough for this).
