Sports League Website

This is a website for a private amateur sports league, organizing games in different venues around the city of Toronto. A new website is to be made for this league. A website that allows users to search and sign up for different sports games in various locations. Functions/ features: - Section for general info about the organization - Login for admin and users (players looking to sign up for games). - Ability for admin to create and post games happening in different locations around the city. Info included: sport type, date/ time of game, location, # of player allowance. -Ability for admin to create and post tournaments - tournaments are a collection of games happening at one time, leading to elimination games and an overall winner. Info included: sport type, date/time of tournament, location, # of player allowance. -Ability for players to search games happening (in map and list formats) and sign up for a game - fulfilling the # of players allowance. - Function allowing each user of the website to be associated with a team - a collection of active members of the website under one name per each sport. The games posted by the admin can allow individual players to sign up or teams to sign up. -Ability for admin to modify the created game parameters even after players have signed up, in order to decrease the # player allowance, in case not enough players have signed up. -Payment processing when players sign up for games. -Team match making - every player starts with a baseline ranking. With every game, the ranking of the player increases or decreases based on his/ her performance and win/loss record. Following signing up for a game, team match making is to be done in order to make team with equal average rankings as possible. -Ability for admin to enter final results of the game and player stats (when the game is completed). Ability to generate/ update and view player rankings based on updated game results. This can be done in an excel algorithm, and the results of the algorithm be entered into the website by the admin. -View/ search player profile - show upcoming games, past game results, player ranking, general information about player, and payment methods/ history. -Admin page - ability to create/ modify games/ tournaments, view payment history, update/edit player and team rankings, add/ delete players and teams. -Free game when referring a friend to the website
