oscommerce admin atributes not showing up

I have a oscommerce store. attributes are not showing up in the admin orders, I have traced the problem down to this there are two database tables orders_products_attributes and orders_products , in orders_products_attributes the column orders_products_id has to have the same number as the orders_products_id in orders_products or else it wont show up, I dont know how to get this number to be the same, I have manipulated this number in other ways through [login to view URL] but I can not get it to be the number I want which is the same auto_increment number as orders_products_id in orders_products. I need to know what you did to fix this and what files have changed cuase I have other stores to fix.
