Loan Servicing Database

Our company purchases distressed loans from banks. We then service/manage these loans in-house. We have an off-the-shelf loan-servicing system for managing the loans (loan amortization, payment histories, payoff statements etc). We also keep a set of Google Docs spreadsheets for each loan to track our cash-basis in each loan because the servicing system doesn't do this. These sheets contain basic information about each loan/borrower and then keep transaction data on each payment received and expense paid by loan. This allows us to track returns/profit on each loan we purchase. All of this transaction data is stored in a set of 5 or 6 Google sheets. I would like to build a pretty simple database that can house this data and also populate some Google Sheets files so we can continue to use them as a reporting mechanism. The database will have 5-10 tables and probably under 10K records to start. This is something I will want to add on to as time goes on, but the initial implementation will be pretty simple. Eventually, I would like to replace our servicing system with this tool, but that is down the road.
