Convert Web Project using Classic Active Server Pages and Access to SQL

Currently have a relatively simple web application that is written in Active Server Pages (with Frontpage) which uses Microsoft Access as the database engine. The project is to convert this application from Access to SQL. The application is for a non profit, charitable organization that collects and distributes Christmas Gifts to needy foster children in Michigan (about 4,500 families). Step 1: Document procedure to import the access data directly into SQL. This will need to be done several times – once for the initial/development effort, and several times throughout the testing process. Step 2: There are two web pages, the public facing pages, and the internal facing pages. Each of these will need to be converted. The Public facing pages consists of three dynamic pages (all .asp) Initial login screen (reads static information from one table, validates user name/password) Pilot entry/edit screen (retrieves pilot information and updates in tables) Ground Crew entry/Edit screen (retrieves ground crew volunteer information and updates) Whenever a pilot or ground crew record is changed, a pre-change image of the record is retained. The concept/approach used in the Active Server pages is to be retained, rather than by utilizing the SQL pre images. Step 3: The Internal site consists of 3 modules that will need to be converted Extract and create Excel file from Access File (hopefully, only the connection string will need To be changed) Assign Times (Assigns pilots a proposed departure time to load the airplane with gifts and Fly to a group of foster children at an airport within Michigan) Add/Modify Airport Codes (static information about a particular airport, including contact info) There are 10 other modules that are typically just online reports that the employer will modify (only the connection string should need to be changed) All field names need to be referenced by name, like being done in Access. We can not accept code written using index numbers from SQL
