Based on the project requirements provided, I propose to develop a cloud radio platform using a robust infrastructure of servers with sufficient bandwidth and scalability. The platform will include a modern UI control panel for ease of use, allowing clients to live stream, access on-demand content for podcasts, and create customizable playlists for our Auto-DJ service, all accessible through HTTPS.
For storage, we will use a cloud-based storage solution that can accommodate high-quality audio files and stream at 320kbs with encoding and transcoding. We will integrate with a live streaming protocol and build a CMS for content management, ensuring an intuitive interface for easy content organization, playlist creation, scheduling of broadcasts and uploads of on-demand content. Additionally, user management and authentication systems will be implemented to manage user access, customized playlists, and personalized features.
We will also implement analytics and reporting features to track user engagement, listener statistics, and other metrics. Customization and branding options will be available, allowing broadcasters to create their unique brand identity through customizable playlists, player designs and branding elements. The platform will have basic user access control with the ability to make content public or private and will be hosted on a Linux server, using tech such as shoutcast or icecast.
