I need help in running a couple of R functions and constructing a rather minimal piece of R code dealing with analysis of climatological data available in netCDF files. Data are publicly available climatological records (e.g. pressure fields) and analyses involve basically two routines - correlation analysis and superimposed epoch analysis (sometimes called also composite correlation in climatology). Both are very straightforward routines. R code should be able to read netCDFs, calculate correlation between data and a data series, and estimate (a) field significance and (b) percentage of the area with significant correlations. User should be able to choose between two ways of estimating significance of the outcome - (a) through analysis of distribution for each grid point in the dataset, and (b) through bootstrapping. Area for the analyses is defined by geographical coordinates and time frame, which are both specified while reading netCDF file. Prior to analyses, i would like to have an option to remove autocorrelation in the data. R code should produce a map (examples will be provided) with analysis results. Code should be well commented so I can modify it at a later stage. There are readily available function to do all these tasks, which I can advice on if necessary. This is a small but time critical project which I need to be completed in week time (before the 16th at the latest). I will be happy to give bonus for meeting the deadline. Successful completion of the project may lead to similar tasks commissioned to the coder in the nearest future. Please express your interest ONLY if you feel you can commit yourself to this project and meet the deadline. Thank you.

Hi, I am a statisitcian and a excellent R coder. I have completed alot of projects for clients using R and have previously written R functions for specific tasks. If you take a moment to go through some of the feedback from my past clients you will notice the excellent experience they had when I attended to their R projects. Please provide me with the specific data (or link to that data) you need analysed and the sample codes you mention do exist, as well as any other information you deem important. I will work and beat the deadline, as usual. Feel free to ask me any question. I look forward to working with you. Kind regards, John.

Hi, Matt here, scripting R for nearly 3 years and looking to help you. I don't understand if you need an interactive time series visualization or not (e.g. slider moves the date and data visualization is changed accordingly). By itself R is not good for that, so either Shiny (R on server, currently can be installed on Linux and Mac) or D3.js (javascript data visualization library) would be two options for you. Little late here, tough week, so I am looking for your reply with more information about your project (haven't done climatological data before). Regarding time I want to finish my 2nd Udemy course by Wednesday/Thursday yet can seize the remaining days till 16th and do the agreed work. I don't like asking for too many additional improvements that some of the buyers wanted from me in the past and that can double or even triple required work (I'm just writing about the experience with some of my recent buyers here). Best Regards, Matt P.S. As far as I know the bid can be changed even after the bidding ends when all is communicated and agreed.
