Configure TinyMCE HTML editor to be plain text

I would like to have the TinyMCE editor configured so that when the "Edit HTML Source" button is pressed just a plain text editor is used rather than TinyMCE's HTML with html validation. I need to have spacing conserved and no HTML validation.
