I have a simple order entry program that I put together in VB 6 about three years ago.
At that time I was using Access 97 for the database. When I upgraded to Access 2002
The program quit working. From what I can tell Access 2002 will not work with the DBGrid Control. I tried to re-code the program using the newer ADO Data Control and ran in to problems because of my lack of programming skills and more importantly my lack of time.
I am looking for someone that can re-code this program so that I can use it with Access 2002. I also would like to have someone fix a few problems and/or add some error trapping routines.
The program uses one database with three tables. One table for customers so that you can add, remove and update. One for orders that you can add, remove and update. One for quotes that you can do the same and if the quote turns in to a order it will take the quote information and move it to a new order page so that you don’t have to re-type the info. The program also uses Crystal Reports to print out orders and quotes.
There are about 6 forms that have the DBGrid Control on them that need to be changed.
One page has two grids that are tied together, Customers and Orders. If you go to a customer on grid 1, grid 2 will show you all the order from that customer.
In a nutshell I am looking for someone look at the code, fix it for a fair price.
Thanks for your time
