Hi,
I am looking to have a script created that will imitate a person's daily GPS life trace.
In short, few parameters will be given to a script, GPS location of person's:
- home;
- office;
- few favourite places s/he likes to visit.
Based on this criteria script will at random generate person's movements around his/her locate, let's say every 5 or 15 minutes a supposed GPS trace will be recorded. Some very basic logic will apply like 8-5 job hours, sleeping hours and weekends. Other than that, it's totally random. For example a favourite place could be "Pizza Hut". Script at random pick when this place will be visited if at all.
Again, this doesn't have to be very sophisticated. It just has to resemble somewhat an ordinary person lifestyle in GPS trace.
As far as language used to create this script, I don't really care. Could be python, perl, bash script, whatever. All I need is the following format:
id | timestamp | gps[lat,lon]
Here's example of how it looks in mongo data collection right now:
{ "_id" : ObjectId("4d33d3bde0fa808cf3000000"), "_types" : [ "GeoEntryType", "[login to view URL]" ], "author" : { "$ref" : "user", "$id" : ObjectId("4d054759e0fa804aa8000000") }, "creation_date" : "Mon Jan 17 2011 00:29:33 GMT-0500 (EST)", "_cls" : "[login to view URL]", "gps" : [ 1, 3 ] }
Thanks in advance for assistance with this.
