We are building a new company to help realestate agents sell houses. For this purpose we need a database with houses and realestate agents.
In this database realestate agents should be able to register in which houses home owners are interested in. THe system should be able to automatically mail agents and home owners
We are looking for a coder who can:7
- create a mysql database including recordstructure
- create php maintenance pages for the database
- programm a matching function
- implement users maintenance (login, create, forgot password etc)
- create automatic generated mails from the database
## Deliverables
**The Dutch housing market is in a bad shape. People who own a house put it to the market and wait for their house to sell before they buy a new house. In essence everyone is waiting for every one and hardly any sales are recorded. Purpose of the site is to get the market rolling again by finding out who is interested in which house.
In Holland when a house is put up for sale, ONE real estate agent gets the listing, and gets paid when the house is sold. So the agents are a key figure in the process which must not be overlooked.
We would like the sellers to start selecting the house they want and tell their estate agent about their preferred new home. The realestate agent should put this information in a database. This database and the management around it is to be built.
On a regularly basis the website should inform the agents which houses their clients are interested in and which houses they can sell tot other agents customers. If owner of house A is interested in house B and B is interested in C and C is interested in D we call this a train (with traincarts). Still nothing happens until A is sold
The website offers 3 types of solutions for this problem
1 We ask all owners if they are prepared to buy a cheaper house if they can sell their house. For example if the value of house D is 1 million and house A is worth only 100K it could be that D will buy A, not to live, in but as an investment. He will have sold his house and will have his hands free to buy a new house. We call this a "koekkoek"
2 We check if the train is very short and A proves to be interested in B and vice versa. We call this a "siamees" (siamese)
3 We check if D (the big expesive house) maybe is interested in house A (a small appartment) to really live in. We call this a "Slang" (snake)
When a realestate agent adds a traincart the agent has to fill a form with questions an example <[login to view URL]>
We devided the project in different fases to reduce the complexity.
[[login to view URL]][1] is online with explanation of the matching proces. It is in Dutch, but google translate should help to put it into english.
[[login to view URL]][2] is the main housing site

We added aditional files
- Database design ( to be used as a starting point for development)
- ODB (example with maintainance screens and database starting point)
- matching function (flowchart for matching function)
