Grab info from third party site

I need a page on my site that will grab from a third party site some info, crop it a little and display it on a customized page on my site. My webhost offers PHP ver. 4.2.2 I'd like to get from [login to view URL] the "Latest Updates"(excluding the "Add to my yahoo" link) down to "Take a free trial"... I'd like it to show on a page called Mkt. Updates or something so people can check it out, just below my company logo...
