Adding small php code to an exiasting website

For a professional php master this must be easy: 1. We have a page that loads with several checkboxes: 2. lets say i have a container that loads this data from DB on the same page where the checkboxes are: DataText0 [3 - clothes] DataText1 [3 - clothes] DataText2 [5 - food] DataText0 [6 - clothes] DataText1 [7- clothes] The numbers [3 - ..] , [5 - ...] are the same as values of the checkboxes!!! 3. So what i need is that if checkboxes with the following values are selected "3, 5" to display only DataText0 [3 - clothes] & DataText1 [3 - clothes] & DataText1 [5 - clothes] they have the same value of selected checkboxes. And if there is "DataText" without any braketts, they this will be displayed anyway.
