Need help to fix a php picture upload problem

I have a site on [login to view URL]
login with admin for user and admin for password
go to 'admin' then go to 'create an auction'
within this is a picture upload, when you upload the picture does get uploaded to the server, but when it is referenced on this page
[login to view URL] or [login to view URL] the picture doesnt show up
the site is written in code igniter and the images are located in [login to view URL]
i have attached the 2 php files that are used for this
