We have a PHP script that is used to support podcasting. The open source program GETID3 ([[login to view URL]][1]) is used to read a directory of music files and then generates a page that lists information about the file (using the MP3 ID tag). Users can select files from the display.
The demo page for the GETID3 project is available at
<[login to view URL]>
The current script I'm using displays the following 6 filelds.
Album
Title
Artist
Filedate
Filesize
Filetype
I'd like the following modifications performed.
1. List _Filename_ in place of Title
2. Remove the Filedate from being displayed
3. Display the _Filesize in MB_ versus bytes (i.e. 2.1MB vs. 2100000 bytes)
4. Remove Filetype from being displayed
5. Add _Playtime_ (recording length) to the display. The documentation decribes how to do this, I just don't have the PHP skills.
6. Fix a carraige return issue I'm having whereby footer text is running into the end of table text.
In reading the documentation for the GETID3 script, I realize these are likely very simple changes, however I have no PHP experience. I'd like to have them completed by someone who is skilled in PHP.
