I have existing Matlab script that we previously developed with programmers that are no longer available to me. I am trying to alter the script slightly to improve its function. The application is based on an inertial sensor-based lameness evaluation system for use in horses. We use a series of algorithms and rules that process the inertial information to detect and quantify lameness. The core algorithms are matrix and vector manipulations and are working well (I do not need help with this script). There are a further series of rules that manipulate some vector variables after the algorithm deployment and it is here that I need help. It is difficult to describe without actually showing the code but the rules deal with signal peak and valley localization and then counting and sorting indices of peaks and valleys and correlating with peaks and valleys of synchronized simultaneously collected signals. I need help with implementing rules to clean up collected data that is too variable for our developed algorithms. The code will later be compiled into executable format for use without Matlab. It is important to me to be able to personally speak to (over the phone or in person) the person I am working with on this project. I would prefer to work with someone from mid-Missouri, USA.
