Brandt Technologies needs a DLL that will allow the user to manipulate XML files using a GUI.
Brandt Technologies will post a detailed set of requirements by 18th April but from a high level the requirements are
1. Read in an XML file and display it in a tree.
2. Support unicode encodings for the XML.
3. Display various icons in the XML tree based on the node content/type.
4. Support XML attributes.
5. Ideally, use Xerces.
6. Written in C++ and able to be built in Microsoft Visual Studio 6.
7. Thread safe.
8. Support multiple trees being opened at the same time.
9. Support dragging and dropping from one tree to another.
10. Support selection (highlighting) of multiple nodes.
12. Support deletion of selected XML nodes.
13. Support "File->Save" and "File->Save As".
14. Continually montitor changes made to the XML to ensure that it remains valid.
Brandt Technologies expects that the amount of work involved in this project should be no more than 160 hours (4 weeks). However, Brandt Technologies is working on a tight deadline so unfortunately we cannot accept bids from part-time developers who can do the project in 160 hours but cannot commit to delivery within the 4 weeks.
