<[login to view URL]> is an open source project. It runs on many platforms and they have a Windows version. The windows version is set to compile using Scons and uses several Unix type utilities (bison, yacc ...).
This project is to setup the solution/project files so that Aqsis will compile under Visual Studio 2005 (or possibly VC7). This means you will create whatever intermediate files are needed, download all the Unix type tools and create settings so that a user from Visual studio can execute Build and have all the dlls, exes built. If you are unwilling to download and install the Unix tools it is unlikely that you can complete this project.
IMPORTANT: When responding to this project you must list versions of VC that you use. I will not consider bids that lack this information.
You do not need to setup projects for the files Aqsis depends on, just for the files unique to Aqsis. Aqsis will compile under VC7 using the tools the Aqsis group specifies (SCons...). It is STRONGLY recommended that you have VC7 and do the initial project setup using the aqsis specified tools. Once you have that compilation working, create a VC7 project. Then simply convert to VC8 and verify the solution works.
DO NOT bid on this if you do not understand the UNIX type tools the project uses. You will end up waisting many hours and probably not be able to complete the project.
No "programming" is involved, only setting up the project files.
