Interactive Python Shell, Matplotlib and wxPython(repost)

Note I am a C++ developer with over 5years experience. If you can't write good/clean/tested code, don't bid. You need: 1). Experience with embedding Python in C++ apps 2). Experience with writing multi threaded Windows apps. This project involves: 1). creating the backend (i.e. server) for processing interactive python commands (see [login to view URL]). 2). A simple windows tester (i.e. client) that allows user to type Python commands interactively and receive/display the results back in the client's GUI Notes: A user must be able to use matplotlib from the tester console. matplotlib windows should be displayed non-blocking (i.e. user can still type commands). matplotlib will be configured to use the wxPython backend. It is important to note that showing a plot will 'block' if the GUI is not handled in its own thread, so GUI commands need to be run in their own thread for non-blocking behavior. The backend (server) cna be made to communicate with the frontend (client) by using either named pipes or Windows Messaging - the choice is yours. Here is a sample of a script I would like to be able to run through the console GUI provided by the test app: from pylab import * t = arange(0.0, 2.0, 0.01) s = sin(2*pi*t) plot(t, s, linewidth=1.0) xlabel('time (s)') ylabel('voltage (mV)') title('About as simple as it gets, folks') grid(True) show() If everything is setup correctly, this should display a plot window, in the test application, if the user closes the window and types show() again, the plot should be displayed again without any blocking behavior or crashes. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
