The script is Calendarix and it's the Advanced version, available from: [login to view URL] You can also view the demo on the site to get a feel for the script. I've installed the script, customized it but wanted to modify it further to suit my need. There are 3 things I'd like done to the script. The 3 things are listed in order of priority. I absolutely want #1 done now and may well have #2 and #3 done at the same time. Please bid for all 3 items together but also provide a break down of the individual items. I'd like to finalize the bid within a week and have the project done by mid June. 1. Add 3 additional fields to the event   The events record currently does not have a field for venue or admission price. I would like to add 3 fields to the add event form as follows:   Venue: text field (say 100 chars) Is admission free? Yes No (radio button) Admission charge if not free: text field (say 50 chars)   These 3 fields will display in the week and day listing and the pop up as follows:   Venue: xxxxxx (after Category and before description) Admission: $xx (immediately after Venue and before description)   If admission is free, I'd like a small graphic to show right next to the event title in week/day/pop up view. Else, show the Admission line in the event listing as above. So that if the event is free, the Admission line won't show in the listing.   You get the general idea. We don't need to bother with enabling the graphic entry for the free event in the admin panel. We can simply hard code it in the script. It will be: ../images/[login to view URL] 2. Enable user registration directly   At present, I've set up the script so that only users can post events and must log on to do so. Anyone can view the events. However, it looks like new users must be added by Admin from the admin panel and cannot register themselves.   I'd like to allow users to register themselves and be instantly approved provided that they complete all the required fields and provide a valid email address. There are various ways to achieve this. One of them I can think of is to have a new form based on the ../admin/[login to view URL] file. Obviously the registrant won't have the admin functions menu available and won't be able to designate himself Administrator. Address and email will be required. We'll add 2 additional required fields: telephone and organization. The User Description field will be renamed: "Type of events you will be posting". All fields in the form will be required except for web site URL. When the form is submitted, Admin gets a copy and the registrant sees the "success" page to tell them to check their email and then they get a thank you and welcome email with posting instructions and log on confirmation.   Also, it would be nice to be able to validate the email address at the time of submission (validate and not just to check for syntax) one simple way is simply to say in the form in the email field. "Your user account will not be activated without a valid email address". As an added measure to enforce this, perhaps the user log on will not be enabled until the welcome email is successfully sent out. Or we could pre-assign a randomly generated password to the user account which the registrant can change once he has logged on for the first time. The registrant will only get this password if he has provided a valid email.   Of course, I get to delete any undesirable users from the Admin panel. This facility is already there.   For now, I can do all of the above manually - I can just add an html form to capture the data and use an autoresponder with it but it sure would be nice to automate it. 3. Allow users to edit events   It's nice to have this feature but not absolutely necessary. Currently, users can delete own events but not edit them. There is a link in the event pop up window. So to make changes they can delete the old and re-post a new one.
