Unity Game Developers

We’re looking for a Unity3D/2D Game Developer to join our gang of playful creative types in the game studio. In this role you will be building and releasing high-end games in a live environment with up-to-date features including IAPs (In-App Purchases), social integration, and cross-platform (web and mobile) capabilities. Operating from our offices in the United States, your games will help to shape the future of the ever-changing free-to-play industry. You’ll be involved in all phases of game creation, from the early design all the way to the release and beyond. You’ll work closely with your team, which includes artists, level designers, and a producer, to deliver a great player experience. You will also work with other game developers to share ideas, experience, and best practices. The core tasks and responsibilities of this position include: Designing, creating, implementing, debugging, and refining gameplay features; Working with other departments—such as art and game design—to improve workflow, game features, and artistic output; and Proactively problem-solving performance and stability issues when necessary. Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Game Programming, Computer Science, or equivalent At least 1 year experience with Unity3D, including at least 1 project on desktop or mobile which we can play Experience with most aspects of game programming (gameplay, UI, sound, physics, rendering) Proficiency in at least one other modern object-oriented language, such as Java, C#, or Objective-C You have built at least one tool for Unity to automate tasks (and you are able to demonstrate this) Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal You are curious and proactive in getting new information and you think in possibilities, not in issues Obviously, a passion for playing and making games
