Create a Power BI dashboard to analyze Azure costs using billing data. The dashboard should enable flexible cost analysis based on "env" and "app" tags, as well as filters for month/year, subscription, resource, and resource type. Project Steps Data Loading • Load Azure billing data from the appropriate data source. Data Cleaning • Retain only the following columns: • ResourceGroup • SubscriptionName • Resource • ResourceType • ResourceLocation • Tags (to extract "env" and "app" values) • Cost • Date Splitting "Tags" Columns • Split the "Tags" column into separate columns to extract "env" and "app" values. Monthly Trend Page • Create a page displaying cost trends per month within a defined time range. • Display the total cost for the selected period. • Add filters for "Tag env" and "Tag app." Subscriptions Page • Create a dedicated page for subscriptions within a defined time range. • Add a filter to select specific subscriptions. • Display the total cost of the selected subscriptions. Resources Page • Create a page displaying resources within a defined time range in tabular form. • Add filters for "Tag env" and "Tag app." Resource Types Page • Create a page to explore cost analysis by resource type within a defined time range. • Include filters for "Tag env," "Tag app," and "Location." Key Requirements • Ensure interactivity within the dashboard. • Enable seamless loading of new CSV files, automatically updating the dashboard with new data.
