Calculus is mostly intuitive, and solving the equations comes later on. By intuitive, I mean that most of can be understood visually. I want my students to learn to visualize the concepts so they can have picture of each concept in mind, once this is done, you won't need to 'learn' most of the formulae, they'll come to you. You won't fall into problems and mistakes so often, and best of all, the concepts you learn through intuition will remain with you forever.
