We are an international market research organisation with a qualitative market research survey coming up in Algeria and Morocco shortly. This involves focus group discussions with cigarette smokers on 22-23 February in Algiers and 26-27 February in Casablanca. Our local research teams manage all aspects of running the groups, but we need an independent observer to ensure all proceedings remain on the straight and narrow. There are two group discussions per day: four in each country. They take place in dedicated focus group studios. We need one observer in Algiers and one in Casablanca. Each session takes three hours and therefore this work represents 12 hours per country. We provide a detailed online briefing lasting around one hour. The ideal person for this work has a good eye for detail, ideally with some market research experience, though not essential. Essentially, we just want to make sure that the local teams execute the projects in accordance with the instructions.
