Firstly I dont know if this is possible. The main function that I need is I need a javascript that can autodetect whether the user is on a low speed connection, such as a modem, or a high speed connection such as adsl. It should work along these lines. [login to view URL] hits webpage. [login to view URL] is called 3. if user is on modem then save a value to cookie (say value1) else 4. if user is on broadband AND has flash installed save value to cookie (say value2) 5. else save value to cookie ( value1) 6. User clicks on enter. 7. Read value of cookie and redirect to either page1 or page2 based on value1 or value2 Webpage is currently coded in HTML and we do not want to change the page to ASP or PHP. The server is Linux based with Apache and it is hosted on a shared server with no access to install any software. look forward to hearing form you
