Chrome Plugin Development for Engineering Analysis

This is a project to evaluate the stresses of a pipeline chronologically and receiving an alarm if the reading stress reaches to a threshold value. I am going to describe the idea based on an example: An engineering website provides us the instrumentation results of a pipeline for every 30 second. It’s like a climate change website that updates the temperature of a city for every specific period. However, the data is not open to public and username and password are needed to reach to the data of the website which our firm have access to them. The pipeline data is accessible for about 50 different monitoring stations on the pipeline. For each monitoring station, there are four different variables (strain and temperature) assuming X1, X2, X3, and X4. The mentioned variables are updated through the website every 30 second. Based on these variables, four different pipeline outputs are calculated using analytical equations as the following: Y1=f1(X1,X2,X3,X4) Y2=f2(X1,X2,X3,X4) Y3=f3(X1,X2,X3,X4) The scope of the project is to develop a chrome plugin which can calculate Y1, Y2, Y3 for all of the 50 stations for every 30 second and compare the results with given thresholds (assuming Z1, Z2, Z3). Then an automatic alarm be activated whenever: Y1>Z1 or Y2>Z2 or Y3>Z3. The alarm setting should be in a way that our firm receive an alarm email or text.
