Yoiur primary objective is not the graphical frontend although that is important as well. The main consideration, is the database at the backend, which has to be configured correctly and retain the core information. Therefore, the skills you genuinely require are SQL/mySQL and PHP which collectively will extract and provide the statistical info required.
