Hello, Your project sounds really interesting. It can be used as tool for research and school assessment in terms of how well Maths an Science are taught. What I propose is a well documented project to measure a kid's performance based on the knowledge the are suppose to have at different grade level. I understand that grade level is an "elementary" grade level, or is it an arbitrary grade level that you use for some other purpose? Apart from the game, the software could implement a neural network that can be trained to classify kids according to their Math/Science abilities. Of course, this will require additional research and more time to accomplish but it could be helpful. Anyway, it is just a thought about how can you extend the use of the game. While I haven't worked on edutainment games specifically, I have over ten years of independent gamedev experience, so I have a very meaningful understanding of the overall development process. Good game design is always about teaching people things, and the thing that makes it edutainment is just a matter of what type of stuff you're trying to teach.
