I need a virtual household game (HTML5 of flash) where players will be able to buy products and group them into parts of their house.
Here are some details of the game:
- each player has his house divided into rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living room...). Every room is then divided into further segments, for example Kitchen has: fridge, pantry, cleaning products, small appliances... Players can then buy products for each segment, for example they can buy some food items for the fridge.
- to buy products they go to the store. So there should be some simple virtual city with various stores (supermarket, tech store,...)
- based on the money they spend, they can upgrade their house with various items (fireplace, swimming pool,...)
- there will be a few more additional screens (new products, popular products)
The game should be connected with back-end MSSQL database and should be able to read info about the player, products... and of course write back to the database (purchases...).
It would be ideal if this could be developed in HTML5 if database connectivity could be done. I know flash is simpler with database, but I would like to avoid flash.

Hello-
I am a skilled .NET developer specializing in Web Applications. I have also done game design as well. This application can be done without Flash using the HTML5 Canvas system for graphics and any one of a number of javascript libraries that can send data to an MVC API application to work with the database and any other secure game logic that needs to be kept on the server (any game logic on the browser side in javascript could be theoretically manipulated by players trying to cheat).
I greatly enjoy game and website development, and would love to do this project for you. I am just starting to build my reputation here on Freelancer so I am willing to work at the minimum budget.
Thank you,
Brennan Clairoux
